The Rules of PoEtRy

Don’t tell me how to write, I got this.

Poetry should be free from rules.

It is silly to constrict ones thoughts with forced uses of alliteration,  connotation, denotation, true rhyme:

“Make it miraculously memorable, your mischievous life is molded by this action!”

How silly of a notion that suggests this potion for the purpose of a good read.

Those who can’t write poetry teach idiotic idioms filled with dead metaphors.

My intensity is my ability to stab your eardrums with my density of language!

So don’t tell me how to write, I got this.

About the blog

I initially created my website to share my work with fellow writers. After taking a break for several years, I recently returned and turned one of my projects into a book titled “Guilty,” which I will be releasing at the end of February 2025! This has been an incredible journey, and I’m excited to see what comes next once this project is complete. Thank you for visiting! Please take a look at my work over the years and feel free to leave feedback—I truly appreciate it, whether it’s positive or constructive!
